After the initial questionnaire was completed, the PRETATERRA team made in-person visits (following COVID-19 safety rules) to talk with the farmers and their families, visit the areas intended for restoration or agroforestry, explain the project's goals and planning, and answer questions.
We are in the final phase of selection, and the farmers will soon be contacted for the next step: mapping the area to be transformed with the help of drones, and collecting soil samples for physical and chemical analysis.
